running again starting 5:00 a.m. this morning. we had a power outage that knocked out the underground train service. the mta says there will be a service clinic on the j and m lines. all other lines will run on a normal schedule. if you are in down riders and taking the day they can switch to the subway at the church and market station. if in down riders are taking the end line they can switch to the subway at the boys of the war station. >> and woman in a wheelchair is recovering after she was run over by a minute train last night. the woman was hit by the theft market shrank at the intersection of church and market. police are still investigating whether she had lain for toward the train, or if she fell off her wheelchair. witnesses say, the woman was dragged and trapped under the train. makes and firefighters and police had used a special tool to raise the train and four out from underneath it. she was rushed to san francisco

general hospital where she is suffering from life- threatening issues. >> the supreme court is to take another look at same- sex marriage on friday. the court announced today proposition a has been put on the agenda for the justice's private conference later this week. the voters approved a ban on same-sex marriages is on the list with many other cases concerning the federal defense of marriage at. friday will be the fourth time the marriage cases have been placed on the agenda. you may remember proposition a came after california supreme court ruled same-sex marriages were legal in the state in 2008. proposition 8 put an end to that practice. >> a federal judge is temporarily prohibiting the state from enforcing their first of its kind law that bars licensed there is from working to change the sexual orientation of a miners'. a u.s. district judge ruled last night that the first amendment right of mental health professionals were engaged in " reparative or

we are back. 4:09. is the time. now for the check of the markets. stock start the week lower after a weak manufacturing report heightened worries that the social deadlock in washington is already starting to impact the economy. the institute for supply management says benefactress in the u.s. shrank last month. monday-- market futures for to date indicate a negative start to wall street. here is a look at yesterday's closing numbers. the dow dropped 60 points to fall below 13,000.

thousands. the trees all over were not down on to cars and homes and power was cut to thousands. the rain is being partly blamed for causing giant sinkhole here in lafayette. workers spent most of the day cleaning up the hole with holes, as the raiders and dump trucks. city officials say an expose a foot storm pipe was designed to save for transport water underneath the road but somehow failed. the road keeton sunday morning creating a crack crater that is 80 ft. long 30 ft. wide and 80 ft. deep. the sale is currently under investigation. >> the past week in storms also taken a toll on narrow, winding roads in part of the santa cruz mountains. crews are working on several mud slides that sent rocks and debris onto a busy highway 17. mine hill road in scotts valley is closed after a large mud slide took out about 50 ft. of one line. >> we have got one lame

made an arrest in connection to a case involving an at risk teen girl walked away from a group home. she has mental capacity and walked away from the home and was followed by a staff member where they lost sight of her the girl was found to days later in san francisco but police have not released a person in custody and no further details about the case were available. >> the oscar a great civil rights case was back in court yesterday lawyers for his the state john burris and dan siegel argued the ruling against johannes mehswrle and the other two board officers involved in the incident leading to grants murder should not be overturned. a federal judge ruled in may 2011 that barred cannot be held legally response for the 2009 shooting death of foster grant at oakland's

so in a high-profile case. george zimmerman stiffest in releasing a picture taken february 26th by police officer after trayvon martin was shot and killed. you can see the photo here with a bloody face. zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder in the 17 year-old death. he says he was on a neighborhood patrol and was acting in self-defense. but in florida steady your ground lost to the test. defense attorney mark o'meara says the photo was originally given to them in the discovery phase as a black-and-white copy of the picture. the defense then axed for this color version. zimmerman is expect to go on trial in june. we will take a break the kron 4 news will continue here is a look at the golden gate bridge outside. the roads are a dry for now but erica is reminding us we are expecting rain today. she will be back with the timing of today's showers in just a minute.
